Diesel and your favourite punchline

Diesel and your favourite punchline 1

I love Diesel’s punchline: Be stupid for successful living. There’s so much meaning in it… It’s about dancing to your own tunes and living life your way.

And I have tried to do that ever since I decided to get into journalism in 1993 by opting for a specialised course on the subject.

The other punchlines that I like include:
1. Nike’s ‘Impossible is nothing’.
2. Star Network’s ‘Bring home the stars’
3. Mint’s ‘The mint with a hole’
4. Write Wing Media’s ‘Giving your business a flying start’
5. Cafe Coffee Day’s ‘A lot happens over coffee’
6. Krishniah Chetty’s ‘The heart has its reasons’

Which are your favourite punchlines?

    The future of Nano

Nano. Appears to be Tata’s gift to the world. Right on time. He’s packing his bags and heading to a life of relative anonymity. Will Nano follow him? Don’t think so. And this is why: 1. Most Nanos could become autos across the country. That would mean, safer, relatively pollution-free private transport. 2. The number…

Reporting is much like life. So many people and attitudes swim by you, sometimes affecting you, and sometimes ignoring you. And reporters have a foible. They record just about everything: the social butterflies and the snooty touch-me-nots. Here then is a broad classification of the variety of people I have met on my beat, which…
