>Tiny Thyagrajan and her crystal ball!

>She looks diminutive but claims to have inner strengths that are gargantuan. She says she has a ‘third eye’ or psychic powers that allows her to peer into the future.

Sitting in her chamber at Hotel Ashoka in the year 2000, Tiny Thyagrajan, Bangalore’s occult lady laid bare the mystical story of the crystal ball and her claim to fame.

How do you use the crystal ball?
Through my third eye and extra sensory perception. When a client comes to see me, I ask the person to hold the ball tightly in his or her hand. After five minutes, I take it back in my hand and start the predictions.

How?
Each person exudes different vibrations and the predictions are based on them. I connect to super sages of the seven seas and I get messages from them. I see images in the crystal ball.

Who are they?
They are great visionaries and masters. Nobody exactly knows their identity.

So what is their credibility?
Ask my clients. I can tell about you and you can be the best judge.

Did you learn this science or were you gifted?
Both. At the age of 13 I met with an accident. When I recovered I wasn’t the same. I acquired the strange power of predicting the future. I developed a lot of interest in the occult but since I was an only child I had to follow my parent’s wishes. I did my post-graduation in law. Then I met my swamiji, Gopinath Ray of West Bengal. He initiated me and told me to help people. He said I was gifted. After that there was no looking back.

Have you predicted for celebrities?
Yes, a few days before Sanjay Gandhi’s death, I had written on a piece of paper that he is prone to accidents. Unfortunately, it never reached him. I had also predicted Indira Gandhi’s victory.

Can you predict things for yourself?
No, I can’t use this science for myself. I couldn’t predict my son’s death.

Do you crystal gaze for a living?
No, my services are free. It’s the hotel, which charges the fee from the clients. I don’t get anything.

Then how do you live?
Most of it is through the good will of friends and well-wishers. An English daily in which my column appears is very hospitable.

What’s new for you?
I have recently started writing e-mail mantras. They begin with the person’s name. Don’t ask me how I write and what language are they in.

Why?
Because they are dictated by the sages. After writing I can’t recall what I’ve written. They are very effective.

What else do you do?
I am a gem therapist too.

Is Tiny your real name?
Yes. My parents lost all their children before me. Some seers said they were cursed. So when I was born they were told to give me a non-religious name. Since I was small they started calling me Tiny.

P.S: Tiny died a few years ago. May her soul rest in peace!
